I use heynote extensively for notetaking in meetings and storing snippets of copy for emails and docs. Prose is hard to read in a monospace font, and a sans-serif font would be preferable. However, I also store a lot of math blocks and code snippets, where a monospace font is really useful.
Describe the solution you'd like
I'd like to be able to set a display font separately on each buffer, with the default font set at application level and overridden on a buffer.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Alternative approach: add options to set a monospace font and a sans-serif font in the settings, then add a shortcut to switch between monospace and sans-serif fonts. Alternatively, add options to configure different fonts for each language (although I think it would primarily be relevant for markdown and plaintext).
This would allow a mix of content types to be immediately identifiable at a glance, making it easier to scan through a buffer and find content.
