Roborock setup fails with `No account was found for any base url we tried`

The problem

in 2025.10.4 my roborock went offline forever . so i deleted and update home assistant core to 2026.1
i was able to sign in using my email and verification code in roborock integation however it shows an error stating

Failed setup, will retry: No devices were able to successfully setup

i do have roborock s8 max v ultra connected in same email

is it something to do with country selection as my country is UAE but i am unable to select country in roborock integration

FTR I've the exactly same issue.

I'm new user, installed HA last week and trying out roborock:

• added integration
• provided my email
• received verification code via email & entered it

It only shows:

I then enabled the logs and ... found something:

I think I managed to get the raw info from the python-roborock library (I'm not a python person and used LLMs all the way) and got the login info back.

Partially it reads this:

... r=Reference(r='US', a='https://api-us.roborock.com' .. region='us', countrycode='1', country='US' ...

which, well. 🤷‍♀️

No idea, my app 100% says my EU country though.

You are correct. In official roborock app if I select USA and login I see no devices. When I change it to EU countries and login I see all the devices.

I guess I may have a solution. But am still waiting.

So I signed out if my roborock app and signed in again. This time I selected USA using same credentials. Then I went and deleted my account. It says 1 hour to 24 hours it can take to delete account. Make sure you delete usa account only and not your actual account.

And then its waiting game. It's been 3 hrs for me after deleting and the message I get is account in deletion. So I assume once it's deleted it will redirect to EU

2. From your existing account share the vaccum to the new email

3. Accept the vaccum on new email account on roborock app

4. In home assistant in integration sign up using the new email and password

5. And it's done. It's a temporary fix until the devs solve the issue.

Unfortunately, none of the previously suggested solutions for the EU region worked for me:

1. Deleting the account – I deleted the US account and waited over 24 hours, but Home Assistant continued to return “deleted account” errors.
2. Sharing vacuum cleaners to another US account – This consistently failed with errors stating that the user does not exist.

This is not an ideal or officially supported solution, as it involves editing Python files directly inside the Home Assistant container. Please proceed with caution. That said, since the Roborock login process usually happens only once, this workaround has been stable for me and should work long-term.

Steps

1. Connect to the Home Assistant container (Docker setup):

   docker compose exec -it home-assistant bash

   (Replace home-assistant with your actual container name if different)

2. Navigate to the installed Python package directory:

   cd /usr/local/lib/python3.13/site-packages/roborock

   (Adjust python3.13 to match your Python version)

3. Edit the file web_api.py:

   vi web_api.py

4. Locate the BASE_URLS list:

   BASE_URLS = [
       "https://usiot.roborock.com",
       "https://euiot.roborock.com",
       "https://cniot.roborock.com",
       "https://ruiot.roborock.com",
   ]

5. Remove the line with US endpoint:

   "https://usiot.roborock.com",

   In vi, you can delete the line by placing the cursor on it and pressing dd, then save and exit with :wq

6. Restart the Home Assistant container:

   docker compose restart home-assistant

   (Replace home-assistant with your actual container name if different)

7. Log in to your Roborock account again via Home Assistant.

EDIT: hmm after being happy for some time it now stopped working for me again... Hmm. And since some time I also have problems to start cleaning in the Roborock app. The change of the clean modes works directly, but not the play button to start cleaning...
