Problem after uploading a local image after looking at the global media library

Uploading a local image to the media library after having visited the global library doesn't switch back to the local media library display.
It seem reasonable one would visit the global media library to check if there was already a suitable mage available. Having decided there isn't one, it seems reasonable to switch to the upload tab and upload an image. At that point that uploaded image should display, selected as normal ready to select into the image block.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a page or post
2. Add an image block
3. Click media library
4. Switch to the global media library via the drop down
5. Switch to the upload files tab
6. Drag an image on to the dialog
7. Try to click select in the sidebar that appears.

Expected behaviour
I expected the media library tab to switch to displaying the local media library with the newly uploaded image selected. Ready to be inserted into the block.
