seems like you have to do some workaround yourself, this issue is like 5years old now still no fix, cause apktool is unable to decide wether mapped resources path should be used or the path mentioned in res/ folders. its not an issue to respect both as apks itself has such way but still, no solution for it yet |

left is the original, right is the res dir after apktool building.
please keeping the -v4 -v21 suffix dir name,because we found that google play game service sdk will be in error if the -v -21 dir being not in res dir.
