I - and perhaps the whole community - would highly appreciate if you'd update the status of this repository and inform users that it is unmaintained!
I more or less accidentally stumbled across the (semi?)-official announcement and was quite surprised (and shocked), especially since this is the React Native Notifications Library everything related to Notifications still points to.
In the comment mentioned users are recommended to use expo-notifications instead. I think these are all things worth mentioning to users coming across this repository on the front page - best on all front pages, including https://notifee.app.
