Bios asrock x870e taichi ocf set null char in settings xml

Im using zentimings 1.36.1889, asrock x870e taichi ocf. 9800x3d, gskill 6000c26 1.45V
Bios version 2.05 agesa 1.2.7.1

This combination causes settings.xml to break because a null character is added. I take it null reference because bios v is not recognized.

Element is AgesaVersion &#0x; followed by 2 question marks.

My current solution is just have settings.xml open in notepad and remove the offending chars after closing zt.

Yes, I've updated the parser, which now checks for a set of valid characters and cleans the rest. Seems to be working fine so far.
