Similarly to the option to allow free parking money when you start the game, you could perhaps add an option to include dice roll and the number of dice the players want to use.
You can then implement a random number generator for the dice roll results, allowing players to take turns rolling the dice.
I think this is a nice addition of you lost your dice at home. :)
