Faker currently has no locale for Sri Lanka. I'd like to contribute si_LK, starting with a person provider (Sinhala names in Sinhala script), and follow up with ssn (Sri Lankan NIC numbers. I maintain slnic (https://pypi.org/project/slnic/), a library for these), phone_number, and address in later PRs.
I'm a native Sinhala speaker from Sri Lanka. First-name data comes from an MIT-licensed dataset; surnames are curated common Sri Lankan family names, which I've verified.
