🐛 Bug: Countdown timer shows negative time after conference date

Describe the bug

The countdown timer on the JSON Schema Conference website is displaying negative values (days, hours, minutes, seconds) even though the conference date (December 11th, 2025) has already passed.

This creates confusion for users visiting the site after the event.

1. Open https://conference.json-schema.org/
2. Look at the countdown timer on the main page
3. See that days, hours, minutes, and seconds are negative

Expected Behavior

After the conference is over, the countdown should:

• stop, or
• show a message like "Thanks for attending", or
• be removed from the page

The timer should not show negative numbers.
