Release current version containing merge from pull request #1

Hi @juise, would you mind releasing a new version of the current master that contains the fix from pull request #1? That would be nice.
Like this, we could use a released version from maven central instead of building the master branch from source to make use of the fixed '{}' placeholder handling in log events.

Hi @juise , Seems like this is old...however, with the new fix merged, we could create a new release on maven. we could help you out here if you are in time crunch :)
