How to show Kepler.gl clicked layer info outside of map

Hi, I have a GeoJSON layer loaded into Kepler.gl, and I want to show the field, which is the shapeName, of a clicked polygon outside of the map component, like in a sidebar. Is this achievable with Kepler.gl? If so, what would be the recommended way to implement this? Currently, I am trying with React to do this and guided by GPT but it won't work.
