Seeed reTerminal E1003 and E1004

I'm currently running ESPHomeDesigner on the E1001 and E1002 and wanted to try it on the E1003 and E1004. I tried creating a custom Hardware Profile and as the Pinout should be the same I just wanted to adopt the E1001.

I was so far not successful with the Generic SPI E-Ink as the model is required and Seeed-reTerminal-E1003 seems not yet recognized in ESPHome.

Are there any other way I can try?

I'm happy to test on both devices and get them to a official level if required.

My friend up until today, there was not even a driver for the reterminal E1003 for ESPHome. There is now. I made one. You can find it in my other repos. If it gets excepted upstream to ESPHome I will of course support it from day one.

Yeah, I realized that it's brand new. I tried it with the linked drivers and it's working perfectly! Thx for the fast help

I'm fighting a bit to get a PNG image on the screen (tried with color and grayscale images), all I was able so far is display in type BINARY. I type GRAYSCALE or RGB565 I only get a black screen. Not sure if it's the driver or me not able to get it working 🤣
