Starting with v3.0 new tiers and licensing were introduced

Existing valid licenses will be updated via email. If you already purchased the product, when upgrading to v3.0 you’ll have to enter the new license key sent in email. You can continue using the previous versions as long as you wish. To upgrade to a higher tier you only need to pay the difference. I'm confused. The licensing on the LaunchBack project (which this project lists as it is based on) isn't clear. Without a statement, the copyright for that code would remain with the author. I'm not sure how you can license code which you may not have the copyright.

But other than possibly charging money for something that you don't own, the project looks nice.

The original idea came from that project but if you compare the code, the design or the features (apart from the basic Launchpad) there is no overlap.
