On Windows 10, a program relying on this API (sdl2-gamepad-tool) crashes immediately upon detecting the controller
On Linux (Steam Deck) it doesn't crash, but it won't detect the analog triggers
In the Windows controller info control panel, the triggers show as a merged rudder, like how XBOX360 controllers did without the correct driver
I reported it to sdl2-gamepad-tool and they told me to pass it along to you...
