Following #494, how do I build Master #496

hi, I'm trying to build input-wacom to ensure I can do it before buying an Intuos Pro 2025 tablet.
I followed the instructions but got the issue addressed by #494
This says it's fixed and "Please follow the steps to build from the master branch"
However I can't find how to do this.
Please could you help. I'm not an expert at git / building / etc so pls could you be detailed!
I'm running ubuntu studio 24.04 with plasma and X11.
