'Enter to chat'

Hey, love the plugin, would it be possible to disable the 'Enter to chat' feature? I don't remap my F keys or my camera, I just use the control remap, and it still makes me Enter to chat. Thanks!

Technically I think I could do that, but you might be better off asking the RuneLite devs on Discord to update their official Key Remapping plugin to support that instead. Currently the only reason this unofficial plugin exists is to let users customize the "Press Enter to Chat..." text, since the RuneLite devs didn't want to add that to the official plugin, but they might be open to adding your suggestion.

@cmpgmeye Did you ever end up asking the RuneLite devs about adding this to their plugin? If not, or if they said no, I can look into adding this if you still want.

@macica2 i asked recently and they said it’s because the chat box would eat your key presses if it wasn’t ‘Press enter to chat…’ protected first which does sorta make sense if you remapped to a normal character.

I use it to remap control to tab though which wouldn’t get ate by the chat box so if you found the time to look into some option for disabling the enter to chat that would be amazing.
