Red Coloured Feeds [Answered] #2387
|
Hi all, After fetching feeds in RSS Guard a number of feed titles in my list are showing in a red colour. I know that this means that the fetch has failed; but how can I resolve this? I have checked a couple of the feeds and their web address are correct. Is there anything I can do? Thank you for your assistance. Kind regards |

Each feed has "Status" field and the "red" feeds have them too. So the first thing to do is to check the status of erroneous feed and what was the error. |

From what I can tell this is the error message that I get for the 'blogs.loc.gov/bibliomania/feed' address:
I understand that access was denied. Is there any reason for this? Thank you for your help. Kind regards |

The page is protected by Cloudflare (sadly). So maybe it is possible to resolve this by playing with HTTP headers but in most cases it is impossible. |

Sounds stupid but the best way is to contact the site admin and ask him to remove the cloudflare protection from the feed URL (for such URLs there should be no any protections at all).
