Is it possible to list books using the author's surname instead of their full name? I visit a lot of bookstores and always find books listed using surnames (Shakespeare instead William, Kerouac instead Jacques...)

Hi @srespiral I think it is possible. The authors logic should be reworked to create an instance of every author. Currently the author's name is just a string in the database.

When time allows I will improve authors logic and this will be possible. Also this is open for contributors!

Would be very grateful if this feature was implemented! It's difficult to wander around a book shop or library and find specific authors when they are categorised by surname, not first name.
