Readme.md has contradictory 'jj' mappings customization example

In the second code snippet in the 'Customization' section of the readme.md file, it seems contradictory to me that jj is both mapped to exit insert mode, and disabled.
Am I missing something?

    -- i for insert, other modes are the first letter too
    i = {
        -- map kj to exit insert mode
        k = {

        },
        -- map jk and jj  to exit insert mode
        j = {

That's to demonstrate how to disable mappings. The config example is not meant to be used on its own.
