Solved. ReviOS added a default layout entry and set the LockedStartLayout to my user in the registry. The keys were found here Computer\HKEY_USERS[ID that looks similar to S-1-4-33-7452245435-7568893335-4466776854-2000]\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer Set LockedStartLayout to 0 and delete the default start layout key. Then restart explorer.exe and icons can be pinned again. |

After installing ReviOS on Windows 11 I don't have the option to pin or unpin items in the context menu or in the sidebar when clicking on an app in start. I did select remove start menu items in the Revi playbook installer.
My Admin account can do it just fine. But my user account is stuck. I've tried removing all the reg keys in Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PolicyManager\current\device\Start as I saw Revi adds entires there, but that didn't work. I tried adding some values in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT*\shell\pintostart and HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell\pintostart , but this didn't work either.
Any advice?
