Description

@Hedda

Suggest you test and list ZigStar Gateway compatibility with Zigbee2Tasmota / Z2T (tasmota-zbbridge firmware for ESP32).

https://github.com/arendst/Tasmota/

https://github.com/arendst/Tasmota/discussions

Please note that Frédéric Dubois a.k.a. fairecasoimeme posted documentation about Tasmota for ZiGate Ethernet already:

https://zigate.fr/documentation/installation-de-tasmota-pour-la-zigate-ethernet/

Posted a seed for discussion about ZigStar Gateway compatibility here:

arendst/Tasmota#13537

Btw, also posted a matching seed for discussion about ZiGate Ethernet compatibility here:

arendst/Tasmota#12902

Zigbee2Tasmota is currently only listed as supported on Tube's Zigbee Gateways and hacked ITead Sonoff ZBBridge, see:

arendst/Tasmota#11913

and

https://tasmota.github.io/docs/Zigbee/

which is here:

https://github.com/tasmota/docs/blob/master/docs/Zigbee.md

Note that tasmota-zbbridge firmware for ESP32 is support two modes; Zigbee2Tasmota/Z2T mode which contains its own stand-alone Zigbee controller firmware and MQTT server (so it can pair Zigbee devices and convert to MQTT similar to Zigbee2MQTT which makes it compatible with almost all home automation applications), and ZHA mode which is just the serial stream server which acts as a ser2net to socat pass-though adapter for implementations like ZHA.

Instructions for flashing Tasmota on these gateways are also available in blakadder pages which Tasmota refers to:
