Show article age in compact view, between title and buttons

would it be hard to implement ? This is the only feature missing to reach good ergonomy, IMHO.

Are you using vertical split with compact mode? There it is intentional due to the limited space.
Can you post a screenshot, that we can see how it look like on your screen?

Sure, there is.
I understand this choice for V-split, but I still think it's a must-have feature.

Hey ! I can see that has been added in 26.0.0 by "show intro and date if enough space in compact mode (#3186)" !

Really nice, only one thing that does not fit IMHO : when not enough space to display title entirely, there's now horizontal scrolling bar.
Iit's not handy because when cursor above title is partly masked, and partly prevents from clicing title, cf. attached capture.

I would rather not having this bar at all.

yes, the scrollbar seems pretty ugly with some browsers, when hovering over.
Since the intention for this was for mobile layouts (d3719e8), I think I this could be changed to only use it there.
