On pressing play button: `Assertion 'end' failed.`

On pressing play button after launching linuxband and patching to synth/dummy, I get the below errors in the terminal. This results in 400 - 500 Xruns and instant disappearance of linuxband midi from the patchbay.

linuxband-player: src/main/c/midi.c:134: find_bar_end: Assertion `end' failed.

No errors pop up initially in the linuxband log window on pressing play, but when pressing stop or pause the below comes

If it helps debug, the ERROR Failed .... shows up at least 4 times in a row once this happens. Please do let know if anything I can help with,
