Revise plasmacytoid dendritic cell name and synonyms

Rename plasmacytoid dendritic cell to plasmacytoid cell and delete exact synonyms 'DC2' and 'type 2 DC'

"recent studies that now suggest that mouse plasmacytoid DCs predominantly originate from a progenitor distinct from that which gives rise to most cDCs (23–25). Furthermore, the gene expression profile of plasmacytoid DCs is different from that of cDCs (26–28). Therefore, it appears that plasmacytoid DCs are divergent from cDCs, and we henceforth refer to these cells as plasmacytoid cells (PCs) rather than DCs."

While I agree that PDCs are very different from conventional dendritic cells and that CD2 and type 2 DC should be removed as an exact synonyms to avoid confusion, I would not support changing the name from plasmacytoid dendritic cell to plasmacytoid cell. The field has used this term for several decades now and is well aware that they have a B lineage origin and are distinct from conventional DCs that have a myeloid origin. And we should definitely not use the PC abbreviation which is generally used from plasma cells.
