Access to raw markdown in Gitbook editor

I'd like to be able to access the raw markdown in the editor, flipping views between wyswig and MD. Often there are random spaces or blocks get stuck in code syntax and these are easy revisions if I had MD access, but the blocks don't behave that way and get stuck sometimes. I'd also like to be able to include more structure it it's not available in the blocks.

Yes this would be really nice.

Currently when the UI bugs out I need to edit directly in my text editor using git pull -> commit -> push, which is a pain.
