The inreplace was broken by llvm/llvm-project#167421, so a PR will be needed before the next release.

Many formulae do not always build from --head since that is a moving target. While we generally accept pull requests to fix issues with that configuration, there isn't really anything we can do to provide support for this moving target.

Adding onto @SMillerDev's response, we make no guarantees or provide support for HEAD builds since we can't realistically test them in our CI. You'll need to work with upstream if you're encountering issues building from the tip of the default branch.
