Yea, sounds sensible for us to adopt it and help maintain it if it's being widely used :) |

Earlier this year I contacted @tykeal, the author of the ep_ldapauth plugin, to see if he would be interested in my contributing some patches to make the plugin compatible with etherpad_v2. He told me that the plugin is up for adoption and that he is not working on it anymore or wishing to work on it anymore. This status is shown in his repo.
As we do use this plugin at work, I had to take care of patching it to make it work with etherpad_v2. I'd be happy to contribute those patches to the community. However, I don't have enough time to become the plugin maintainer. That's why I thought it would be better to park the repo under ether/ so that other people can help maintain it.
I'd like to know if the etherpad community would be interested to adopt this repo under /ether. If that's accepted, I can contribute right away the patches I developed (working with v2.5.0).
Maybe making a poll to see who is interested / using in this plugin could be a good first step.
What do you think?
