Introduction to myself

Hi JSON Schema team,
My name is Mehedi I'm a first-year CS student at the University of Greenwich and a Junior Software Engineering Intern at a London-based startup where I work on a production e-commerce backend. Most recently I implemented a product availability validation rule, wrote a migration script for existing records, and added tests all REST API and data integrity work that maps directly to what JSON Schema is about.

I'm applying for GSoC 2026. I have experience in Python, REST APIs, and JSON-driven data models, and I've been building tools around structured data for a while. I also placed 1st at the Google "Build with AI" Hackathon at Lloyds HQ.

I've been going through the repo and the 2026 ideas and would love to get involved before submitting my proposal. Could you point me toward a good first issue or let me know where active GSoC discussion is happening?
