What part of the course did you enjoy the most?
I really enjoyed the hands-on approach, especially how each step builds on the previous one. It made learning GitHub workflows both practical and rewarding.

What level of experience do you have with GitHub?
I'm a beginner, currently transitioning into software engineering from a petroleum engineering background.

What’s something new you learned that you didn’t know before?
I learned how to effectively use branches and pull requests to manage collaboration and track changes—something that seemed intimidating before but is now much clearer.

What’s something about the course that you didn’t enjoy as much?
Some instructions could have been a bit more detailed for beginners, especially when explaining command-line steps.

What would you like to learn more about regarding GitHub?
I’d love to explore advanced collaboration workflows, GitHub Actions, and how to manage multiple projects using GitHub Projects or automation tools.

What are you planning to use GitHub for?
I’m currently working on my first software project—a command-line Oil Field Units Converter—and plan to use GitHub to manage, improve, and share my work as I grow in this new career.

How likely are you to recommend this course to a friend or colleague?
Very likely! It's a great introduction for anyone new to Git and GitHub.

1- I can't say exactly, but I think the part about editing a README file is interesting
2- I take a technical course in Systems Development and I'm in my 2nd year, I'm still a beginner, but I know the basics of commits, pull requests and merge
3- I had some difficulties creating a repository and editing the files contained therein, this course helped a lot with that part
4- Because I'm Brazilian, I think the language of the course was a bit of a hindrance, but nothing that would make it impossible for me to do it.
5- I would like to know more about shared projects
6- I intend to use github to post some activities that involve programming and develop some teamwork
7- I would highly recommend this course to any friend of mine who was just starting out.

1. I enjoyed learning GitHub features. I had no clue of what they were and how it really worked but now feeling like a pro thanks to you.

1. I think that starts with creating a new branch and using it for a simple task such as a README file creation, following all the basic git flux, including committing, creating a pull request manually or automatically, and finally merging it to the main branch, the best: all this guided by the github-actions[bot], helped to focus on learning the Git/GitHub concepts and functionalities. It was a very didactic and enjoyable experience.

3. Clarifying the Git/GitHub concepts.
4. It would be amazing if it was available in my native language (Brazilian Portuguese).
5. To prepare courses like this for my classes.
6. Academic/Educational/Research purposes.
7. Very high! I will recommend it to all my students and advisees!

I enjoyed learning how to make and manage pull requests.
I’m a beginner with basic experience in cloning repositories and making commits.
I learned how to work with branches and resolve merge conflicts.
Some of the technical details felt a bit overwhelming at first.
I’d like to learn more about using GitHub for collaborative projects.
I plan to use GitHub for managing my coding projects and collaborating with others.
I’d recommend it because it’s a great introduction to using GitHub.

1. What part of the course did you enjoy the most?
I enjoyed the fact that I was able to work directly in GitHub and have guided instruction on how to create a new repository, create a new branch, make changes, commit these changes, then merge the branches and delete the original branch.

2. What level of experience do you have with GitHub?
My level of experience with GitHub, for now, is limited to what I have been able to learn, thus far, in my MS program in which using GitHub is a requirement.

3. What’s something new you learned that you didn’t know before?
I learned how to apply the things that I have learned in class, so far, and how to actually apply them in a real-world setting.

4. What’s something about the course that you didn’t enjoy as much?
The 20-second wait was sometimes understated, especially for the first three steps. I had to wait at least a minute for these first three steps to update.

5. What would you like to learn more about regarding GitHub?
I would like to learn more about the collaboration possibilities and how to contribute to new open-source projects, in addition to what is required for my MS program.

6. What are you planning to use GitHub for?
I am planning to use GitHub to help me complete my MS program, as well as to contribute to new and existing open-source projects in the future.

7. How likely are you to recommend this course to a friend or colleague?
I will likely recommend this, and other courses, available in GitHub Skills to my classmates and friends and colleagues who I know that are interested in learning more about GitHub and don't already have experience in it.
