Here are some things that could be useful:

• Allow some vocabularies to be called also from anonymous users without enabling all vocabs endpoints to them: https://github.com/RedTurtle/redturtle.volto#vocabularies-endpoint
• p.a.caching configuration for restapi endpoints
• @querystring-search customization to better handle events searches

@cekk those three enhancements make sense and we should work on getting them into plone.volto. @ksuess is already working on the vocabularies overhaul, you should coordinate with her. @jensens did some work for us on plone.app.caching, maybe he can give some updates here. It seems we do not have a specific Volto p.a.caching profile. If I recall correctly we just use the default one.
