XEP-0313 - Add "extended usage" support to Message Archive Management #4530
Description
AFAICT there is no open feature request to track adding "extended usage" support to XEP-0313 Message Archive Management.
Notice that #extended is not advertized, because that would require implementing other features, like https://xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0313.html#archive-metadata and https://xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0313.html#query-limit-id
As he kindly added the request "query-paging-flip" #3398 has been rightfully closed.
TBH Every now and then after my self-hosted ejabberd fails the XEP-0313 extended usage compliance test on XMPP Compliance Tester, I search to see if ejabberd has added support, like a.o. Prosody. (which I admit is not a strong use case)
Through this feature request, I hope to get it back on the teams radar and give others the opportunity to express interest or comment.
