login error

Hi!

mf_login() seems to fail with error : "Not Found (HTTP 404). Failed to login to Earthdata. Wrong username / password, or service / servers unavailable." though my credentials are working on https://urs.earthdata.nasa.gov/.

And some resources that were accessible last week (like modis VCF : https://opendap.cr.usgs.gov/opendap/hyrax/MOD44B.061/contents.html) return an error as well now. There might be some changes on their servers and the way to access data.

Anyone having similar problems ?

Availability of data come and go on this server... Today, all MODIS collections are gone : https://opendap.cr.usgs.gov/opendap/

It's only a matter of time until they definitively close the access to the data on this server. I will try to connect modisfast to the new stable NASA opendap server (https://opendap.earthdata.nasa.gov/)

Any recommendations what to do in the meanwhile? Any other good packages that still work?
