Can't see check box outline in dark mode #65325

What is the bug or the crash?
I am trying 4.0.0 and am wholly impressed so far! After installation qgis came up in dark mode. The first thing I realized I was having trouble with was seeing the check box area for on/off of layer. Perhaps putting a small outline around the box would solve the issue.
Steps to reproduce the issue
Table of contents layer on/off not obvious.
