Mundlak devices, panel data, and all that #341

Description

@jebyrnes

I fell across the developing book while doing some searching, and love it. A few of us in Ecology are really trying to push these approaches forward in our field, which is still pretty unfamiliar with them.

As it seems you haven't hit it yet, if it would be helpful, a colleague and I recently put out a paper introducing Ecologists to a variety of approaches for dealing with confounding for panel and cross-sectional data that has an extensive set of R code in the appendices. You are more than welcome to grab any of it to make use if it makes your lives easier (includes simulation code and some shiny apps).

Supplements are at the bottom, or, feel free to get the code from the github repo: https://github.com/jebyrnes/ovb_yeah_you_know_me

Also potentially of interest from what's going on in our field: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/ele.70053

Thanks again so much - I hope to use your book in courses in the future!!!
