Numpy error

Hi Sir, there is a problem with the old packages used to build the code. The code was designed using NumPy 1.x and therefore it returns an error when using a machine with NumPy version 2.26.

Hello. Thanks for reporting this. May I ask how you tried to install the package? My working environment has numpy 2.2.6.

Hi, my machine is already up to date with Python. For cosmo-learn, I pip install cosmo-learn. Then, I tried to run the .ipynb file step by step. When running the first step (which is importing the packages), it prompts me that 'corner' is not found. So I pip install corner. After that, it shows the error as I shared in previous messages. Because of that, I uninstalled the latest version of numpy and installed the old version of numpy 1.26 by pip install numpy==1.26. Only then can it run....So, I think the code can only run in old numpy packages.

If you have updated cosmo-learn, I may use pip uninstall cosmo-learn and install it again on my machine. Please let me know. I have some questions on MCMC sections as well because it returns some errors as well.

Have you installed on an isolated environment? E.g., clone the repository and try the recommended Installation via Honda: conda env create -f cosmo_learn.yml

This should work on mac, linux or windows wsl. When it works, you wouldn't have to install corner separately.
