elliptic for docker registry 2.0

Hi,

Does anyone know how to use elliptics for docker registry 2.0

I only see it is for docker registry 1.0.

And how about the benchmark compared to Ceph?

@noxiouz Anton, are there any plans for registry 2.0?

As of Ceph comparison, it is so much different storage. You can not put replicas into different physical locations like across the world, streaming is very different. Any medium to large object storage like Ceph or Elliptics has bottleneck in the network or sequential disk access, storage selection in this area should be started with features provided first

Unfortunately, it's not supported right now. When it comes to the plans, current seconadry indexes in Elliptics're going to become depreceated, so I have to investigate new ways of how to support the distribution (registry 2.0) interface.

@noxiouz I think our Ops team will be very interested in it since registry v1 will be deprecated soon, but we still prefer Elliptics as an image storage :)
