Tasks before release

This is a meta-issue tracking the tasks I would like to finish before the release:

• Built-in and user-defined metadata store API #192 (will be done with Dict-like metadata interface & private metadata #260)
• Explicit dtype for the node and edge attrs? #193
• Saving dataclass objects field-wise. #194 (will be done with Struct attrributes #268)
• Default attr names #228 (will be done with Fixing DEFAULT_ATTR_KEYS usage #234)

Hi @yfukai , I can take care of #193, #194 and #228

There are a lot of things to be completed, and I don't think we need to stress ourselves to get everything done in a week.
Christmas is near, and we can release it in early January.
Additionally, releasing is very easy, so we can increment the minor versions and release frequently.

Nonetheless, I love the motivation to improve our package!

Hi @JoOkuma and @TeunHuijben, I'm sorry I wasn't able to address the regionprop issues. I opened PRs that resolve issues, except those related to regionprops and #194!

I somehow finished working on the struct-type fields #268 which partially solves #194.
