bug: Dropdown items not shown in recent versions

Menu items in navbar dropdown not visible in recent daisyui version. Don't know with what version it stopped working though....

This is a more complex problem :)

1. details in .menu is by default considered as a sub-menu (and needs a small fix to make .dropdown work in .menu): https://play.tailwindcss.com/wCM0pqx1R8?file=css

@saadeghi can you help, I'm not sure what is the reason for overflow: hidden here

2. As specified above, details in .menu has some nice features for sub-menu, so you can use it: https://play.tailwindcss.com/ek8ZG9pCLs

But the CSS is designed for ul container, not menu. As menu does not really bring any improved semantics you can use ul (it is a semantic alternative but is treated by browsers and accessibility trees as identical to a ul and you still need to add ARIA roles for full accessibility in some cases).

@saadeghi should we also add menu as alternative to ul in .menu CSS?

I don't think using the menu element is the main culprit here, since it doesn't work even with ul element. Here is the almost canonical use of dropdowns

This last example is a partial .dropdown, missing .dropdown-content.
It would only work by mistake :)

It looks like it's required in the general case, it else we get scrollbars while animating.

So the PR should be good.
