[Bug]: "Are we there yet" doesn't acknowledged shared location

Bug Description

I tried sharing location multiple times - through essential app by tapping on open maps and also by independently opening google maps and sharing the location.

"Are we there yet?" screen opens up without any change.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open essential app
2. Tap on are we there yet
3. tap on - Open maps
4. Share location

Expected Behavior

A destination should add but doesn't.

Pretty sure this can be fixed if you use a dropped pin instead of an actual destination.

I'm not famiar with the terminology. What's a drop pin?

I've faced the same issue with that feature, just touch and hold around the location you want on google maps, it should show a location thing saying "Dropped Pin" instead of the name of the destination you want. Share this with the essentials app and it should work. Don't use named locations on google maps :/ it's written in the "What is this?" Section of the feature, I found it out just today :D

thanks for the heads up. It worked once by them I cleared the location to get an even better one but it hasn't worked since then despite 20 attempts

I am still looking for a fix to address this and as mentioned above, make sure you are only sharing the destination only not a trip and then also it needs to be "Dropped pin" or so in the name. That's the way I can retrieve the coordinates of the destination but I am planning to just integrate Google maps API if possible to make things easier.
