Php 7?

Hi, awesome idea and execution.
Could I make this run on php7? I see that the required extension is predating php8. Or are there any other limitations?

We don't want to actively maintain legacy PHP versions, so our new packages only support php:^8.0. It should be an easy upgrade from PHP 7.4, probably less than an hour using the right tools. Good luck!
