How to get a counter of imported elements ?

With this script, I'm doing the following :

$count = 0;
 SimpleExcelReader::create(storage_path('app/'.$file))
            ->getRows()
            ->each(function(array $row) use($failures, $count) {
                // Test if SKU and Qty are conform columns
                $product = \App\Models\Product::active()->firstWhere('sku', $row['SKU']);
                if (! empty($product)) {
                    $this->addCart($product, $row['Qty']);
                    $count ++;
                } else {
                    $failures [] = __('frontend.import-order.errors.not-exists', ['row' => $count, 'sku' => $row['SKU']]);
                }
        });

The problem is $count is always equals to 0. Do you know if can make a callback or something else in order $count is known ?

@t-prod you need to pass $count by reference i.e. &$count otherwise you're only updating the $count within the closure.

...
->each(function(array $row) use($failures, &$count) {
...
