I'm Jalen, a designer & web developer from Virginia's New River Valley. I spend most days building things with Craft CMS, Laravel, Vue, and Tailwind CSS, and you'll usually find me hanging around the Craft CMS community, answering questions and trading workflow ideas. Most of my open source projects started the same way: I hit a rough edge in my own workflow, disappeared for an afternoon to fix it, and realized other people were hitting it too.

What your sponsorship supports

Twig Toolbox — a complete Twig 3 grammar and a real language server for VS Code, with first-class Craft CMS awareness. This is my biggest ongoing project, and the one where sponsorship makes the most direct difference: a good language server takes sustained, focused time to build and maintain.

Craft CMS plugins — a whole shelf of them, including Preparse, Metronome, Lockout, Altcha, and Readtime. Every one of them needs compatibility updates for new Craft releases, issue triage, and support.

Spark — opinionated boilerplates, Docker images, GitHub Actions, and a CLI for spinning up new projects fast.

And the rest — Laravel Forge recipes and stacks, fluid utilities for Tailwind CSS v4, and whatever workflow itch I fix next.

Everything I build is free to use, and sponsorship is what keeps it maintained. The visible part of open source is the initial release; the invisible part is the years after — keeping plugins current, answering issues, and protecting the deep-focus time that projects like Twig Toolbox require.
