How to add direct download after starting

What is the intended use case for adding new downloads when the app is already running?

I couldn't find any way to do this so I always quit and then start again with torrra download <link>, but that somehow doesn't feel right?

Also, it would be cool if one could use torrra without an indexer. If you only use direct download it is not possible to start the app without an indexer.

Currently, torrra doesnt support adding new downloads to a running instance, restarting is expected for now. But I agree its not ideal and Im considering some input ui/daemon for this.

Also, it would be cool if one could use torrra without an indexer. If you only use direct download it is not possible to start the app without an indexer.

Good point about the indexer. Torrra started as a TUI torrent client focused on search, so indexers became a core dependency.
That said, since torrra download <link> supports direct downloads, making the indexer optional in that case makes sense. I’ll look into improving this.
