Difference to "Miles" MIDIFORM #4
Description
Just one little note, when i convert a MID to XMI using MIDIPLEX the result is slightly different to the result of MIDIFORM (the miles tool to convert MID to XMI) mainly if i play them back using bristlehogs "PX" (present on VOGONS) via adlib or sbfm (yes it isn't proper anyway), however if i convert them using MIDIPLEX i lose the drum channel if played back as adlib while if i convert the same file using MIDIFORM the drums are present (as far as possible).
There are other differences which i noticed but they are negligible, mainly filesize and MIDIFORM acts more choosy if something isn't as expected.
BTW, i use MIDIPLEX 0.4.1 so i won't know if that might be fixed already.
