Building takes a lot of RAM #824
Description
Hi, I was trying to install Mamba from src on a consumer pc for experimentation and noticed that by default it requires a substantial amount of RAM, above 20GB. Reducing the threads amount in the setup.py (append_nvcc_threads) from 4 to 1 has reduced the build RAM requirement down to 8GB.
This is not an impediment and is easy to adapt locally, but I thought of letting you know as others may find a similar problem.
I'll leave this issue open but plz feel free to close it. Just by being searchable may already help others that happen to stumble on the same thing.
