Can Stump be used to keep track of my paper books as well?

Ideally, I'd like to be able to enter an ISBN number and have it add an entry to the library which knows it's a physical book rather than an eBook.

While I find this use case really cool, it isn't currently supported by Stump. That kind of functionality would be too large of a foundational shift for me to add for the foreseeable future.

I've definitely seen a few posts in self-hosted spaces for software aimed at physical collections that might satisfy your requirements. Unfortunately, though, I don't use them and don't recall what they were called. If you, or anyone stumbling across this discussion post, find something that works please let me know!

I had the same issue and this is my solution - this works on all ISBN - Essentially did a PoC using a small bash script

It would be cool to be able to create a 'virtual' PDF using the mobile app directly as the ISBN can be scanned like a bar code.
The location of the book would also be useful to "track" them - that would be indeed very very useful.
