The SwissCAT+ Laboratory is divided into two principal areas:

Synthesis Section — structured around an H-shaped arrangement of seven Glovesboxes. This section is dedicated to automated sample preparation and synthesis experiments.

Analytics Section — composed of multiple workstations, each equipped with advanced analytical instruments, including:
- Gas Chromatographs (GC)
- Liquid Chromatographs (HPLC, UHPLC)
- Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectrometers
- Ultraviolet–Visible (UV-Vis) spectrometers
- Infrared (IR) spectrometers
