We just made Agent Config permanently free on Syrin. Not a trial. Not a freemium tier we will eventually gate. Free.

I want to explain why, because I think the reasoning matters.

The reason:

Configuration is where control starts. Before you can trace your agent, experiment with it, or govern it — you need to know what it is configured to do.

Agent Config is the foundation. Making it free means every developer who has an AI agent can start here. See their agent's configuration in one place. Track changes. Understand what they are running.

From there, Traces, Experimentation, and Governance are the tools they pay for when they need more.

What free actually means

Free means free. No credit card required. No "free for 14 days." No usage limit that kicks in when you have 5 agents.

One account. All your agents. Manage their configuration. For free. Forever.

What it does not mean

It does not mean Traces, Experimentation, and Governance are free. Those are in our paid pilot (open until June 6) and will move to a paid tier after.

Why I am telling you this here

Because I want the people building with Syrin to understand that this decision is permanent. It is not a growth hack. It is a product philosophy.
