I need to build audio modules for my iMac 19,1 on kubuntu 24.04 T2, but the packege linux-source is misisng in the repo.

You don't need to use the T2 repo for iMac 19,1. Use the normal Ubuntu kernel.

BTW, it would be good to see ZFS is also included. This is one of the most useful filesystems in Ubuntu ecosystem and we cannot use it with zfs-dkms.

It's best you compile the tools you need from kernel.org

Building all tools is for some reason not possible on Debian based distros, but I try implementing this patch that builds perf:

Zfs does not support kernels starting from 6.18

Thanks for mentioning this. I found the detail on release notes of ZFS at https://github.com/openzfs/zfs/releases/tag/zfs-2.4.0 and choose to compile 2.4 from source.
