Extract deep diff into a separate packages

It would be great to have https://github.com/therohk/datum-merge/blob/main/src/diff-lib/README.md a separate package that only has the replacement for https://github.com/flitbit/diff/blob/master/Readme.md#differences

It looks like this package might even work without the lodash-es package? It looks like it is not used directly in this part of the code. Or maybe there are some parts but that can maybe be replaced with native code https://you-dont-need.github.io/You-Dont-Need-Lodash-Underscore/ ?

I think having this a separate package would make it a candidate to promote it as a modern replacement as part of the https://e18e.dev/ project. As part of the modernization recommendations at https://github.com/es-tooling/module-replacements/tree/main/docs/modules

being included in the e18e project sound great! i will look into how to build/publish two libraries from one source. if you know of some sample package that implements this, pls share.

diff-lib has no external dependencies. for the remaining package i was considering this native feature in ts 5.5+ that could replace most of the methods from lodash.

I would try to keep Turborepo out first and create the setup using pnpm Workspaces (or Bun or Deno).

ive put out beta version of the standalone library here: https://www.npmjs.com/package/datum-diff

sample backend code to try it out:

im not familiar with browser environments so please create a bug (or a patch) if umd doesnt work!

@therohk I tried it out today but I think there is something not wired up correctly.
I see the types file but VS Code does not recognize it.

https://arethetypeswrong.github.io/?p=datum-diff%400.9.0 reports errors which is a good source to check a package AFAIK

hi @tordans , i have pushed a fix to reference the correct exported files. please use version 0.9.1. also updated the sample snippet above.
bdw, that is an excellent tool and pointed to the exact error. lot better than i have been using for verification: https://node-modules.dev/.
